SHO killed in MP village

Guna, MP, Sep 10 (UNI) A station house officer was killed during stone-pelting on a police team that attempted to stop a clash between two groups in this district's Puranyakala village today, police said.

On receiving information of the clash this afternoon, Kumbhraj Police Station in-charge V S Sapre led a force to the village.

Senior officers subsequently rushed to the spot with a heavy force.

Tension prevails at Puranyakala.

Quoting preliminary reports, police said a festering dispute led to the clash.
