Settle self-financing college issues in time-bound manner: CM

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 10 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan today said the issues in the self-financing colleges will be settled in a time-bound manner and the revised schedule for admission will commence tomorrow as per the Supreme Court verdict.

Talking to newspersons here after a meeting with the college managements, the Chief Minister said today's meeting was fruitful and further discussions would be held on September 11, 13 and 14.

He said in the couselling beginning tomorrow the fee structure and admission formalities, like the ratio of management and governent quota, would be based on the apex court ruling. But certain corrections would be made on the basis of the outcome of further discussions with the managements, he added.

Management representatives also expressed satisfaction over the progress of the discussion in which Education Minister M A Baby also took part.
