Muzaffarpur, Sep 10 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today ordered a probe into an incident in which some Pulse Polio volunteers allegedly misbehaved with the daughter of a serving Patna High Court Judge.

Health secretary Deepak Prasad has been asked to conduct the probe and submit its report to the government.

Earlier in the day, Pulse polio volunteers stopped the car of the daughter of Justice S M M Alam near Gutha village in this district when she was on way to Patna from Darbhanga. They requested her to allow them to administer pulse polio drops to her daughter but she refused and said the drops would be given to her daughter only after consultation with the doctor as the child had already been administered the drops and next due date for the same was September 16.

Then the volunteers reportedly passed some unsavoury remarks and tried to search the car.

Meanwhile, Muzaffarpur District Magistrate Binay Kumar said an FIR against the volunteers has been lodged in Bochaha police station. He said that the volunteer, identified as one S Sharma, had been withdrawn from the pulse polio drive.
