Mid air refueling perfected in air exercise

Jaisalmer, Sep 10 (UNI) The experimental flight of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and mid-air refuelling of fighter planes are the major highlight of IAF's major exercise Gagan Shakti - - presently underway.

All the assets of the IAF's Western and South-Western Air Commands were participating in the air exercise to be held till September 27. It was for the first time that, apart from the participation of the Navy and Army, DRDO and Hindustan Aeronoutics were part of exercise, the IAF said.
