Enquiry commission members visit Ukai dam

Surat, Sep 10 (UNI) An enquiry commission members, appointed by the Gujarat government to look into the damage caused due to recent floods in Surat, have visited Ukai dam to gather evidence.

The team, led by Justice Sushaben Bhatt and R D Soni, yesterday met the dam's chief engineer J B Patel, superintendent engineer K L Dave and excecutive engineer J C Chaudhuri and inspected the main structure of the dam, hydro power station and canal of the dam, sources said here today.
