Earthquake rocks Meghalaya
Shillong, Sep 10 (UNI) An earthquake of light intensity today shook Meghalaya's capital Shillong today.
The tremor, measuring 4.0 on the Richter Scale, occurred at 1142 hours (IST) with an epicentre of latitude 24.6 degrees North and longitude 94.5 degrees East India (Manipur) Myanmar border region, about 236 km away from south East of Shillong, Central Seismological Observatory officials told UNI here.
They said there was no report of any loss of life or property.
