To encourage and attract outside investors Mr Techi advocated for lucrative incentives and suggested a few measures for the state as well as for the Northeast states, which could be placed in the forthcoming Northeast industry minister's meeting at Guwahati on September 12. The delegation said the Centre should come out with some new policies with better incentives and subsidies for the Northeast so as to attract more number of investors.

The ACCI also suggested regarding --central capital investment subsidy, power subsidy, continuation of central transport subsidy, central comprehensive insurance scheme and central interest subsidy scheme.

Meanwhile, the ACCI has urged the minister to take steps with the Centre to revive the sick Arunachal Pradesh Industrial Development and Finance Corporation (APIDFC) Limited, which it termed as the backbone of the state's economy, sources added.
