CPI (Maoist) ultra arrested

Hazaribagh/Latehar, Sep 10 (UNI) Police today arrested a dreaded CPI(Maoist) ultra having Rs.50,000 reward on him.

Suprintendent of Police Praveen Singh told UNI hat acting on a tip-off police caught one person from a city hospital yesterday under suspicion who was today identified as the dreaded ultra Anil Yadav.

He was formally arrested later.

Mr Singh said Yadav, a sub-zonal commander of armed core of the banned outfit CPI (Maoist), was involved in Giridih rifle loot case, attack on CRPF camp at Jhumra hill on Bokaro and about more than fifty similar cases.

In another incident, police today nabbed two dacoits from Jharkhand's Latehar district Suprintendent of Police Sukhdeo Oraon here said both had been identified as Baldeo Oraon and Aghnu Ganjhu and were wanted in several cases of robbery and snatching registered in Ranchi and Loherdega district.
