BHPV unveils 'Hydro Carbon Flare Knock-out Drum'

Visakhapatnam, Sep 10 (UNI) A new vessel called 'Hydro Carbon Flare Knock-out Drum' was flagged off by Bharat Heavy Plate and Vessels (BHPV) Managing Director O M Rakash, an official release here said today.

According to the release, the vehicle weighing 79 tonne had been built as part of the clean fuel project being executed by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL).

The project, when commissioned would produce automobile fuels compatible with Euro standards and help in mitigating environmental pollution due to increasing vehicle traffic, the release added.
