22 Indians cheated by agent request jobs or repatriation

Dubai, Sep 10 (UNI) Twenty-two Indian professionals, who said they were cheated by their recruitment agent, have urged the Indian consulate to either help them get jobs or send them back home.

The agent, who brought these men here two months ago with promises of jobs according to their qualifications, is currently in jail after cheques issued by him bounced.

The consulate has arranged food and water for the professionals from a nearby hotel and promised to arrange for their repatriation.

These professionals are graphic designers, accountants, electricians, plumbers, mobile phone technicians and tailors.
