VHP leader K Ka Sastry passes away

Ahmedabad, Sep 9 (UNI) Renowned Gujarati literrateur and chief of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Gujarat unit K Ka Sastry died today at his residence here.

Sastry, who was 102-year-old, was ailing for some time.

Sastry, who died at 1545 hrs, was the founder member of the VHP when it was formed in 1964.

His body will be taken from his residence 'Madhuvan' at Samaratheswar Mahadev, Ellisbridge at 1800 hrs to the VHP office at Paldi before being taken to the VS cremation ground later in the evening.
