Tourist feared drowned, Coast Guard boat looking for missing man

Panaji, Sep 9 (UNI) A tourist from Delhi is feared drowned in the sea off the Colva beach.

A coast guard boat had been pressed into service to trace Nishant Kumar who was swept away in the strong currents while bathing, sources said.

Nishant Kumar had accompanied a tourist group from Delhi. One of the members of the group, Akshay Bhatia, has alleged that the local police failed to take cognisance of the complaint lodged with them about the missing man.
