Tight security at Surat railway station

Surat, Sep 9 (UNI) Security arrangements have been tightened at the Surat railway station in the wake of the blasts at Malegaon in neighbouring Maharashtra yesterday.

Government Railway Police Force sources said the passengers are being subjected to thorough checks.

Following the Malegaon blasts, which have claimed 38 lives, an alert has been sounded in Gujarat.
