Three killed, minor injured in Betul

Betul, (MP) Sep 9 (UNI) Two blacksmiths and a tribal woman were killed and a minor injured after some unidentified people stabbed them at Khap Khateda village of this district today.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Seema Alawa said unidentified people stabbed Ganesh and Mamta to death while Shree, who was critically injured, succumbed to his injuries in the district hospital.

Two-year-old son of Mamta was also injured in the incident.

In June, two members of a blacksmith's family were also brutally murdered.

On September 27, 2004, three women were burnt alive when villagers had set houses of blacksmiths on fire in this village.
