Three killed in Betul

Betul, MP, Sep 9 (UNI) Three people, including a tribal woman and two blacksmiths, were today killed at Khap Khateda village in this district, police said today.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Seema Alawa said unidentified persons stabbed 35-year-old Ganesh and Mamta to death and injured Shree and Mamta's two-year-old son. Shree succumbed to his injuries in the district hospital.

Mamta was staying with the blacksmith family.

On September 27, 2004, three women were burnt alive when villagers had set the houses of blacksmiths in this village on fire.

Two members of blacksmiths family were brutally murdered in June this year.
