Test for recruitment of teachers in AP

Visakhapatnam, Sep 9 (UNI) About 8,234 candidates are sitting for the District Selection Committee-2006 (DSC) test for recruitment of teachers by Andhra Pradesh Government.

District Euducational Officer (DEO) R Surender Reddy said here the test were for recruitment of Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs), Language Pundits Grade II and Physical Education Trainees (PETs), test for school assistants.

Mr Reddy said prohibitory orders under section-144 have been imposed in the test centres. Police pickets have been posted in the centres.
