Satyagraha to figure in CWC meet tomorrow
New Delhi, Sep 9: The Congress Working Committee (CWC) will meet here tomorrow morning to chalk out a strategy on commemoration of the anniversary of the Satyagraha launched by Mahatma Gandhi.
The Satyagraha was launched by the Mahatma as a potent weapon to fight the Britishers to attain independence of India.
It was adopted during the freedom struggle as a non-violent, moral and political force.
All CWC members, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and AICC General Secretaries are expected to attend the meeting, likely to last for an hour, according to party sources.
The CWC, the highest policy making body of the Congress, was also likely to consider preparations for the seventh Chief Ministers Conclave to be held in Nainital on September 23 and 24.
