PCP urges Mutt to intervene in TTD employees plot issue

Tirupati, Sep 8(UNI) To protect the sentiments of the devotees, Praja Congress party founder President Narra Munichandra today appealed to the Visweswara Theertha, the head of the Udipi Pejawar mutt, to intervene in the proposed allotment of house sites to TTD employees by the TTD Trust Board.

In a telegram message, he said the newly constituted TTD Trust Board, which will meet tomorrow, will likely to take a decision in allotment of house sites to TTD employees, who were agitating since one week over their demands including house sites.

If TTD allotted the house sites to employees, he said the management will be bear more than Rs 2,160 crore.

Besides paying 60 per cent of the total budget paying salaries per annum to the 18,000 work force, he said the management also providing other facilities like education, medical and marriages loans.

The sentiments of Srivari devotees would be affected if the ttd alloted house sites to the 7,000 employees demanded by the union , he alleged.

In view of protecting the sentiments of the devotees and donors, he appealed to the Visweswara Theertha to intervene in the issue and suggest to the TTD management about the heavy burden.
