Modi, Sharma condole Sastry's death

Ahmedabad, Sep 9 (UNI) Gujarat Governor Nawal Kishore Sharma and Chief Minister Narendra Modi have condoled the death of K Ka Sastry who die away today.

Expressing profound grief, Mr Modi said Dr Sastry was an epitome of Hindu culture and had lived every bit of it. The state has indeed lost a noble son, he said in a statement.

Mr Sharma, in his condolence message, said Gujarat has lost a great litterateur. Dr Sastry was a shining example in the field of literature, religion and Indian culture.
