Centre for lack of willpower to fight terror

Dehra Dun, Sept 9: Criticising the Central government for having no willpower to combat terror in the country, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today strongly condemned the Malegaon multiple blasts which left 38 people dead and 150 wounded.

''The past experience of the government in dealing with terrorist activities in the country shows that the will to combat terror is absolutely lacking,'' he said.

Reacting to the Malegaon blasts, he said terrorists were inflicting ''wounds'' one after another but the government was doing nothing but issuing statements and reviewing situation.

''The present government is directionless and it even ignores the advice of the President,'' he said, adding,'' it waits for another similar incident to happen.''
