Man goes berserk; kills one

Itanagar, Sep 9 (UNI) In a tragic incident, a labourer went berserk and attacked seven people with sharp-edged weapons, killing an eight-year-old girl, at Yingkiong in Arunachal's Upper Siang district.

Deputy Commissioner of the district Gamli Padu today said four of the seriously injured were rushed to the district hospital and then air lifted to R K Mission Hospital here for further treatment.

On hearing about the incident yesterday the Deputy Commissioner rushed to the spot along with a posse of policemen.

The accused was later arrested, the DC informed.
