Maitain Peace: Puri Shankaracharya

Bhubaneswar, Sep 9 (UNI) Puri Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati today condemned Friday's bomb blast at Malegaon and appealed to all to maintain calm and peace.

''It is necessary that we stick to our traditional bonding and come together to fight terrorism. We must resist such divisive moves unitedly,'' he said on his way to New Delhi.

To a question, he said Muslims should not keep quiet when Hindu shrines were attacked.
