Investigation on to probe Malegaon blast: Pranab Mukherjee

Kolkata, Sep 9 (UNI) Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee today said an investigation has been ordered to probe the blast in Malegaon yesterday in which 38 people were killed.

Speaking at the sidelines of a seminar here, Mr Mukherjee said the Centre will take steps after the probe is over.

A team of Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) sleuths, led by ATS chief K P Raghuvanshi and Subodh Jaiswal, reached the site of the crime in Maharastra earlier in the day to begin its investigation. The bomb disposal squad, sniffer dogs and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) officials visited the blast sites at Bada Kabrastan and Musharwat Chowk to look for evidences.
