Inter-factional clashes claim five lives so far

Kohima, Sep 9 (UNI) With the killing of two more NSCM-IM cadres today, the toll in the ongoing inter-factional clash between the NSCN-IM and the combined forces of NSCN(K) and Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) rose to five.

The clash had been raging since last Tuesday at Phek Bhasa village under Phek district has already claimed five lives and has left four NSCN-IM cadres injured so far, official sources said.

The clash was the sequel to the 'forceful' occupation of the FGN camps by the NSCN-IM cadres.

However, after the district administration failed to pacify, the enraged cadres police forces has been deployed in the areas for the safety of the people.
