HM ultra rob police post, killing two SPOs in CM home town

Jammu, Sep 9 (UNI) A Special Police Officer (SPO) looted weapons from a Special Task Force (STF) post and killed two other SPOs in Bhaderwah in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir last night, police today said.

SPO Javed Iqbal, who is an alleged HM sympathiser, fled with ten AK 56 assault rifles and four SLRs.

Mazid Azazi, the district commander of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) has claimed the responsibility for the incident.

The two SPOs killed have been identified as Ishwar Lal and German Singh.

Police sources said Azazi, along with SPO Iqbal, shot the two SPOs and fled with the weapons from the STF post.

Police sources said Iqbal started working for the Hizbul Mujahideen in 2004 but surrendered last year.
