Four die in lift collapse

Indore, Sep 9 (UNI) Four labourers were killed and one was injured when a service lift collapsed at an under-construction IT park here today, police said.

Fire brigade and ambulance reached the spot to rescue the labourers after the lift collapsed at about 1100 hrs.

Station House Officer Arun Mishra said three bodies were recovered, while two were injured. However, one labourer succumbed later.

The deceased were identified as West Bengal-residents Santosh Mandal and Suraj Mandal and Orissa-resident Babulal Pradhan.
