Hyderabad, Sep 9 (UNI) Hailing the Union Government for locating the premier National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) here, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today sought the Centre's intervention to resolve the problems of aquaculturists in the state.
Farmers, and aquaculturists are under severe strain year after year. The banks refused to grant loans in the absence of insurance cover after the National Insurance Companies sustained heavy losses following the crisis of 1994-95, Dr Reddy said while launching the NFDB's official website.
