Bajaj inducts additional Directors

New Delhi, Sep 9 (UNI) Two-wheeler major Bajaj Auto Ltd today inducted Mr P Murali and Mr Niraj Bajaj as additional directors on its Board, taking its strength to sixteen.

''In order to strengthen the Board and within the ceiling permitted by the Central Government, the Board of Directors of the company has concluded two additional directors on the Board,'' the company said in a statement here.

Seventy two-year old Mr Murali, IAS (Retd), is currently the Adviser to the FICCI President. He has held many senior positions in the Government of India and Government of Tamil Nadu, including Seceretary to the President of India.

On the other hand, Mr Bajaj, aged 52 years, is Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, Boston, US, and currently the Managing Director of Mukand Ltd.
