2 killed in explosion in Rae Bareli

Lucknow, Sep 9: Two people, including a woman, were killed and two children sustained injuries after crackers kept in their house exploded in neighbouring Rae Bareli district last night, police today said.

Police Superintendent Sanjay Singhal said Sarju Pasi, a resident of Sareni area, was engaged in the trade.

Last night, the crackers, stored in his house, accidentally exploded following which the roof of his house collapsed, burying alive Sarju and his wife, while their two children received injuries.
