Woman throws kids into well, jumps herself

Malappuram, Kerala, Sep 8 (UNI) A women allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a well after throwing her two children into it at Chelembra Padijhattepai in Malappuram District of Kerala today.

The deceased were identified as Sreemathi Palattupadi (38) and her sons Anu Sreejith (6) and Sreekuttan (2).

Police said Sreemathi, whose husband died two years ago, took the extreme step probably due to financial crisis.

An FIR had been registered and investigation was on, they said.
