Villianur Councillors' plea to CM
Pondicherry, Sep 8 (UNI) The Villianur Commune Panchayat councillors and village panchayat president today sought the intervention of Chief Minister N Rangasamy to execute the works in the commune and ensure it's development.
In a memorandum to Mr Rangasamy here, they alleged the independent legislator from Villianur constituency, Mr N I T Narayanasamy, was functioning in a partisan manner and showing discrimination in several issues.
They also brought to the notice of the Chief Minister about the 300 persons were selected for provision of funds under the Kamaraj Housing Scheme before the elections, which was later stopped because of the model code of conduct.
After the elections, Mr Narayanasamy made efforts to get the funds for 120 people close to him and left the others, they alleged.
The Chief Minister assured to look into their grievences.
