Veteran journalist dead

Chennai, Sep 8 (UNI) Veteran Journalist V Krishnaswamy died here this morning following a heart attack, family sources said.

He was 95.

Mr Krishnaswamy is survived by four sons and two daughters.

Both of his daughters are journalists.

Mr Krishnaswamy retired as the Chief Sub-editor of Times of India, New Delhi in the early 1970s.

He had also worked with the Indian Express, Chennai and Hindustan Times, Delhi and was a regular contributor to Alive, a magazine in New Delhi.
