Three medicos arrested for ragging juniors

Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, Sep 8 (UNI) Police today arrested senior medical students Srinivas, Murali Krishna Reddy and Sudhir Kumar Reddy for ragging three juniors of the Kurnool medical college a week ago.

The Principal of the college Dr M S R K Prasad has suspended the three students as soon as media published reports that the three were made to undress and walk on their knees for three hours. Photos of the seniors torturing the juniors also leaked to the media.

Police were however hesitant as senior medical students were agitating against the suspension of their colleagues.

Following the arrest of the three students, senior students resorted to Rasta roko, protesting the arrest.
