Security beefedup in and around Aurangabad
Aurangabad, (Maharashtra) Sep 8 (UNI) Security has been tightened in and around the city in the backdrop of the serial bomb blasts at Malegaon today.
Aurangabad Police Commissioner, Uddhav Kamble, told UNI that two companies of the Central Reserve Police Force and one company of the State Reserve Police Force have already arrived here to assist the local police to maintain law and order.
The situation in the city is totally peacefull and security has been beefed up only as a precautionary measure, he said.
Political parties like the Communist Party of India have condemned the blasts at Malegaon which killed about 30 people.
