Rupee opens strong at 46.14/16/USD

Mumbai, Sep 8 (UNI) The Indian currency today opened strong at Rs 46.14/16 per US dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 46.22 per US dollar, a trader in the money market said.

In the mid morning trade rupee was trading at 46.20/22 per US dollar.

The stock market too opened six points in the green at 11,859 points, and is currently trading at 11,900 points.
