PSL gets Rs 81 cr pipe contract from UAE

New Delhi, Sep 8: Leading manufacturer of welded pipes PSL Ltd today announced it has bagged Rs 80.77 crore orders to supply spiral saw weld pipes for the high pressure gas pipeline project in United Arab Emirates.

''This contract acknowledges the company's ability to deliver line, pipes including anti-corrosion pipe coatings in this upcoming market while recognising its commitment to delivery schedules and quality in such pipeline projects,'' a company statement said.

PSL Ltd had recently commissioned a Two Step Pipe Mill at Kandla, Gujarat, to cater to high pressure oil and gas requirement both in the domestic as well as international market.

This unit took the total number of mills operated by it to 11.

PSL Ltd manufactures high-grade, large-diameter helical submerged arc welded pipes for oil, gas, and water transmission as well as for structural and piling requirements in onshore and offshore applications. It also offers comprehensive pipe-coating services.
