Prof Sabharwal's heart sent for histopathology test

Indore, Sep 8 (UNI) Deceased Professor H S Sabharwal's heart has been sent again for medical examination to the pathology department of a medical college here, police said today.

Pathology department's Chandrahas Kulkarni said it could take four to fifteen days to come.

Earlier on September 5, the medical college had returned Prof Sabharwal's heart because it was not properly sealed.

Dr Kulkarni said histopathology test on heart was a part of the post-mortem. However, it was not carried out during post-mortem.

He pointed out that there was nothing special about the test.

Ujjain's Madhav College Prof Sabharwal died when he was attacked by students irked over postponement of student union elections on August 26.
