Shivraj Patil condmens Malegaon blasts
New Delhi, Sep 8: Home Minister Shivraj Patil today strongly condemned the blasts in Malegaon in which thirty people were killed and about 80 injured and said that it was an attempt to disturb peace and communal harmony.
Mr Patil expressed the Government's resolve to firmly deal with those involved in such inhuman acts.
He has appealed to people to maintain peace and communal harmony.
The Home Secretary, who held a high level meeting to review the situation, has spoken to DGP Maharashtra and asked him to take help of local leaders in maintaining peace and communal harmony.
A suitable advisory is being sent to Maharashtra and other states.
The centre is also sending some forces including RAF to Maharashtra.
