ONV Kurup selected for Kannassa Puraskaram

Pathanamthitta, Kerala Sep 8 (UNI) Noted poet O N V Kurup has been selected for this year's 'Kannassa Puraskaram' in recognition of his total contribution to Malayalam poetry.

The annual award instituted by 'Kannassa Smaraka Samithy, carries a cash prize of Rs 5,001 and a citation.

Kannassa Trust President P G Purushothaman Pillai will present the award to him at a function to be held here.
