NCP to ally V P Singh's Janmorhca for UP polls

Varanasi, Sep 8 (UNI) The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) today announced contesting 2007 Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, in alliance with Janmorcha, led by former Prime Minister V P Singh and film-actor-turned MP Raj Babbar.

Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation (independent charge) and senior NCP leader Praful Patel told newspersons here that the party led by Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar will contest 2007 state assembly polls with V P Singh's Janmorcha.

On Telgi's narco-analysis, Mr Patel blamed the media for distorting the entire episode.
