Minor reshuffle in J

Srinagar, Sep 8 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet has effected a minor reshuffle in the state administration.

The Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad approved the transfer and posting of seven Kashmir Administrative Services (KAS) officers.

Mr G M Mir has been posted as Secretary in the Higher and Technical Education Department, Mr Abdul Rashid Mir, has been posted as Director Land Records, Kashmir in place of Mr Abdul Majid, who has been transferred as Director Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department, Kashmir.

Ms Dilshada Khan, Additional Commissioner, Kashmir, has been posted as Director Social Welfare Kashmir in place of Mr Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh, who has been posted as Additional Commissioner, Kashmir. Sardar Shabir Khan, Settlement Officer Kashmir, has been posted as Director Rural Sanitation Jammu and Kashmir in place of Mohammad Sultan Koka and R K Samyal, Principal State Institute of Education, has been transferred as Project Director Sarwa Shiksha Abhiyan.
