MCD sealing continues, focus on negative list in Master Plan
New Delhi, Sep 8 (UNI) A day after the Centre amended Master Plan, 2001 to allow guest houses, pre-primary schools, nursing homes, and others operating in residential areas, the MCD today said sealing operation would go on but the focus would now be on sealing shops related to items put in the negative list.
''The MCD is carefully studying the revised mixed use regulations in the amended Master Plan notified by the Urban Development Ministry yesterday. We will now hold consultations with the RWAs and other citizen forums and come out with a fresh list of items to be sealed,''MCD spokesperson Deep Mathur said.
