HC allows Kasliwal to move all over India, except Mumbai
Mumbai, Sep 8 (UNI) The Bombay High Court today allowed Abhishek Kasliwal, son of the owner of Ram Mills, accused of raping a 52-year old woman, to travel across India except Mumbai for business purposes.
Justice V M Kanade, who had earlier given bail to the accused, also allowed him the liberty of applying for modification of today's order after three months.
Advocate Abad Ponda, arguing on behalf of Kasliwal, sought relief for travelling outside India as well, to which the court directed him to file a fresh application.
Meanwhile, additional public prosecutor, Rajeshree Gadhvi told the court that his trial had not concluded. The court has allowed him to enter Mumbai only for the trial court proceedings.
Kasliwal had filed this petition seeking entry into Mumbai to help his father in the family business.
