Group clash leads to tension in Shahapur

Belgaum, Sep 8 (UNI) Tension prevailed for some time in Shahapur area, a suburb in the City, following a group clash in which seven people were seriously injured and three vehicles were torched.

Police said the trouble started when two groups belonging to a particular community clashed over a piece of land belonging to Wakf board.

All the injured have been admitted to district hospital.

Four people have been arrested in connection with the clash.

Police bandobast has been intensified in the area.
