Gold crashes by Rs 290 per 10 gms
New Delhi, Sep 8: Gold prices today crashed by Rs 290 per ten gms at the local bullion market on discouraging overseas advices.
Prices of yellow metal declined from Rs 9650 yesterday to Rs 9360 per 10 gms as overseas advices also plummeted from 636 dollars to 611 dollars per troy ounce.
Prices of silver also dipped by Rs 200 per kg at Rs 19,600 per kg for the same reasons.
Market sources said that this trend is expected to continue till the end of this month and also because of beginning of the Pitrpaksh which is considered to be inauspicious for buying precious metals.
