Congress MLC Nilambar Choudhry passes away
Patna, Sep 8 (UNI) Senior Congress MLC Nilambar Choudhry(70) today passed away due to cardiac arrest at IGIMS in New Delhi.
Mr Choudry is survived by his wife, two sons and daughters.
His body was brought to Patna from Delhi and would be taken to his native village Baseth in Madhubani district where his mortal remains would be consigned to flames tomorrow.
A professor of Chemistry in C M Science College Darbhanga, Mr Choudhry began his political career in 1952. He was MLC since 1990 from Darbhanga graduate constituency.
In his condolence message, Bihar Legislative Council Chairman Prof Arun Kumar said that Mr Choudhry was an active social worker who strived for the cause of the people.
Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee President Sadanand Singh, Chief spokesperson Prem Chandra Mishra and others expressed their grief over the sudden demise of the leader.
