BSF jawan injured in Kashmir grenade explosion
Baramulla, Sep 8 (UNI) A Border Security Force (BSF) personnel was wounded in a grenade blast at Sopore in this north Kashmir district today, official sources said.
The sources said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a BSF patrol party at Lalad village near Sopore at around 1530 hours.
The grenade exploded near the patrol party, causing injuries to a jawan of the BSF's 55 battalion, the sources said.
The area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been launched to nab the militants.
