Blast in Pakistan's Baluchistan kills two

Quetta (Pakistan), Sept 8: A bomb exploded next to a clinic in Pakistan's gas-rich Baluchistan province today, killing two people and wounding 13, police said.

Police said they suspected insurgents fighting for greater autonomy and a bigger share of profits from Baluchistan's gas resources were responsible.

''The death toll may rise because some of the wounded are in critical condition,'' said Hafiz Inayad, a police official in the town of Rakhni, where the bomb went off. It was not immediately clear if the clinic was the bombers' target.
