APUWJ condemn the attack on mediapersons

Hyderabad, Sep 8 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ) today strongly condemned the unruly behaviour of a doctor towards mediapersons, covering the news of a road accident and the victims hospitalized in Anantapur yesterday.

APUWJ General Secretary G Anjaneyulu in a statement alleged that the Governmet Hospital doctor Rama Subba Rao tried to hide the facts to the media and attacked media personnel of some private satellite channels and tried to damage the camera. One camera man was injured in the incident.

The union demanded that police officials should initiate action against the doctor.
