APDA demands ban on service extension
Itanagar, Sept 8: The Arunachal Pradesh Doctors' Association (APDA) today demanded ban on service extension of the retired government officers as it affect promotional avenues of other officers.
In a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister, the APDA said that it had earlier protested the second time extension of retired Director of Health Services in July on the basis of government orders issued in 1993 and 2000 effecting blanket ban on such extension.
The association further demanded immediate filling up of the director's post as per APHS cadre rules for facilitating smooth functioning of the department.
The posts of additional director and joint directors should also be filled up without delay.
